Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera)

Our Pacific Islands Coconut Oil is derived from the fruit of the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera). It is refined, bleached and deodorized, thus removing much of its distinctive odor and flavor, leaving a very mild coconut flavor.

Refined Coconut Oil P.I. is well suited for use as a carrier oil for skin products, and is often used in the soapmaking industry because it is resistant to rancidity.

Cert. Organic means third-party Certified Organic by Quality Assurance International (www.qai-inc.com/), which physically inspects the herb production process from farm to pack, and Certified Organic by the USDA.
