Lobelia herb Large cut/Chipped 1 lb

Lobelia, also known as Indian tobacco, is a herbaceous annual or perennial plant that belongs to the Campanulaceae family. The plant is native to North America, where it grows wild in damp, marshy areas and along streams and rivers. Lobelia has a long history of use in traditional medicine by indigenous peoples for various purposes, including treating respiratory and digestive problems. Lobelia is known for its striking blue, purple, or white flowers, which bloom in summer and fall. The plant's leaves are thin and elongated, and the stem is often tinged with purple. The active compounds in lobelia include alkaloids such as lobeline, which is thought to have bronchodilator properties and can help open up the airways.
