Pleurisy Root Cut & Sifted 20 lbs

Pleurisy (Asclepias tuberosa), also known as butterfly weed, is a North American perennial plant that grows up to 60 cm (2 feet) in height. It produces slender stems covered in narrow leaves, and bright orange to yellow flowers that bloom in clusters at the top of the stem from mid-summer to early fall. The plant is attractive to pollinators, particularly butterflies, and its root has been traditionally used in herbal medicine to treat respiratory conditions such as pleurisy, as well as to reduce inflammation and fever. Pleurisy is also a popular garden plant due to its attractive flowers and ability to thrive in a variety of growing conditions.
