Slippery Elm Bark cut sifted 20 lbs

slippery elm (Ulmus rubra) is a species of elm tree native to eastern North America. The tree can grow up to 18 meters (60 feet) tall and has a gray-brown bark that can become deeply furrowed with age. The inner bark of the tree is the part that is used for medicinal purposes. The inner bark of slippery elm has a mucilaginous texture and is rich in various nutrients, including calcium, magnesium, and vitamins B1, B2, and C. It has been used for centuries by Native American tribes for a variety of health conditions, including digestive issues, sore throats, and skin irritations. The mucilaginous properties of the bark help to soothe and coat the digestive tract, making it a popular natural remedy for conditions such as acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
