Yellow Pond Lily Root Large cut/Chipped 1 lb

Yellow pond lily, also known as Spatterdock, is a perennial aquatic plant that grows in shallow ponds, lakes, and slow-moving streams in North America. The plant produces large, round leaves that float on the surface of the water, and yellow flowers that bloom above the surface. The plant's root system consists of rhizomes, or underground stems, which spread out and produce new shoots. The root contains various phytochemicals, including alkaloids, flavonoids, and tannins, which are thought to be responsible for its medicinal properties. Yellow pond lily root is commonly used today in herbal medicine to support urinary and digestive health, and to ease inflammation and pain. It is also used in some topical preparations for skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
